A Class Booster circuit permits to change VRx final stage functioning class from AB to A.

This solution was adopted by elettromedia in order to satisfy the needs of those enthusiasts who

reject all compromises and want only the best sound performances.

It insures:

- greater high frequency transparency and clarity;
- greater mid range detail and warmth;
- deeper, richer bass.

FEATURES AND PRECAUTIONS

This configuration notably increases the transistors bias current and,
thus, heat. That is why we

recommend to use ACB1 together with MAC2 cooling system;
thanks to its incremental
intervention system, it can insure correct dissipation and guarantee
optimal working temperature

to the amplifier.

COMPATIBILITY

This circuit can be installed only into VRx amp.

More precisely, it acts on:

- both channels of VRx stereo models (VRx2.150 – VRx2.250 – VRx2.400)

- on VRx4.300 and VRx6.420 A channels.

It is not possible to use it in VRx1.500.
